At the heart of Roots is a deep reverence for integrity, embodiment, and the power of safe, sacred space. Each of our facilitators and practitioners has been lovingly chosen for their lived experience, their devotion to the path, and their capacity to hold others in their own remembering.
These are the women who walk alongside you - not above you. Womb keepers, body whisperers, space holders, and truth weavers who bring a rich tapestry of skills from somatic therapy, trauma-informed practice, ritual, herbalism, sound, and beyond.
They are guardians of the sacred, allies of the earth, and fierce devotees of feminine wisdom.

Katy is the visionary founder of Roots - A community woven with the prayer that women reclaim their sovereignty, agency, restoration, and wholeness.
With Celtic roots and a lineage of women once silenced for their power, she walks with fire in her belly and reverence in her heart, midwifing the wild, untamed feminine through rituals, retreats, and embodied practices that undomesticated the feminine and call women home.
A devoted ceremonialist, yogini, and bodyworker, Katy brings over 14 years of experience in the art of remembrance and liberation. Her poetic work bridges ancient wisdom with modern embodiment, rooted in Tantra, Buddhism, and over 1,000 hours of training across Hatha, Vinyasa, and Yin Yoga.
A lifelong student of the body and Vedic Meditation practitioner, Katy’s path is one of devotion, presence, and surrender. After a life-changing moment on an ecstatic dance floor, she came to trust the body as the ultimate teacher - believing true remembrance happens through feeling and undomesticated expression.
As co-founder of the Roots Women’s Embodiment Festival, Katy continues to dance between action and rest, calling in community to bring her wildest visions to life. She is here to hold space for the full, raw, radiant expression of womanhood. Her deepest desire is the fan this flames of this community and see them THRIVE.
