Why we’ve created this
Since our first festival, over 700+ facilitators have applied to share their gifts with Roots.
The desire is to be on stage real… but space is limited.
Mycelium is our way of expanding the village all year-round.
In-person events are powerful…
but not always accessible. This space keeps the heartbeat alive between gatherings.
This now becomes a sustainable ecosystem, supporting Roots festivals, trainings, events and our growing community with care.
Social media is oversaturated, algorithm-bound, and shallow.
Our Instagram is nearing 13k and ~500 in our private Facebook group, yet shadow bans, oversaturation, and divisive feeds keep us from true connection. Mycelium offers a deeper, more intentional way to connect.
Embodiment without community is isolating. Mycelium reimagines growth as communal, embodied and relational.
We’re no longer just Sydney-based.
This is a space for women and facilitators to be connected and receive wisdom from all across the globe.
We want to support our Space Holders.
This is an online festival stage, a virtual forest, to hear from the trusted & embodied facilitators within the Roots Community & beyond. We financially support our Core Facilitators Council in their offerings on our platform.
This is a return to the way women were always meant to learn, lead and live… together.
