About Roots
Roots is not your typical festival.
It’s a living, breathing village. A co-created prayer. A remembering.
Held annually on Dharug Country (Webbs Creek, NSW), Roots Women’s Embodiment Festival brings together 600+ women to move, rest, rage, release, and rewild in sisterhood. Here, the feminine is not a brand… she is a force. Roots is what happens when women return to their bodies and the earth.
Our spaces are trauma-informed, earth-honouring, inclusive, and rich with artistic expression, ceremonial depth, and nervous system nourishment.
From the outside, it may look like a beautifully curated event - but behind the scenes, it runs on clear leadership, smooth logistics, and wise-woman presence.
That’s where you come in.
The Role
We are seeking a vibrant, grounded, and highly capable Delivery Manager to hold the beating heart of Roots on the ground. You’ll be the bridge between vision and execution — ensuring the smooth delivery of our workshop schedule, liaising between teams, solving issues before they become problems, and holding the energetic coherence of the weekend with care.
This is a leadership role that requires equal parts strategy and soul. You’ll guide 5 x Space Co-Ordinators, keep the schedule flowing across all venues, and respond calmly and swiftly to anything that arises — from tech hiccups to shifting decor elements.
This role is perfect for a woman who can hold the pulse of a complex schedule without losing her centre.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Festival (Remote)
Attend weekly planning meetings with the Event Director, Production Manager and Operations Manager
Familiarise yourself with the org chart full event schedule, site layout, team structure, and facilitator run-sheets
Contribute to troubleshooting plans, tech logistics, and delivery preparation
On-Site Set-Up (Wed 11th Feb)
Support bump-in and final site prep, checking that all spaces are ready for use
Collaborate with Decor Lead, Operations Manager and Production Manager to execute space aesthetics and functionality
Festival Delivery Management
Hold responsibility for the live delivery of the entire schedule across all workshop spaces
Lead and guide 5 Space Co-Ordinators who each manage a specific venue’s tech and facilitation flow
Act as the middle layer of communication between the Event Director and on-ground team, relaying updates, managing flow, and keeping the field held
Respond in real-time to any tech issues (headset mics, phone/AUX/bluetooth connection, speaker setup) with confidence
Monitor time, transitions, and space energetics, keeping everything running on time while holding the feminine flow
Maintain a calm, wise, and supportive presence for facilitators, helping them feel grounded and ready to lead
Who You Are
You have experience managing live events, teams, or large-scale delivery
You’re an excellent communicator – clear, compassionate, confident
You’re a problem-solver who stays calm and creative under pressure
You are comfortable with tech equipment and can support others with basic mic, speaker, and device issues
You’re a natural leader who uplifts the energy of a team, builds trust, and keeps things running with high vibes and deep presence
You understand the energetics of space holding and know how to support others in delivering their magic with grace
You take joy in the detail — timing, decor, flow, aesthetics, tech, and transitions
Bonus if you’ve attended Roots before or have experience working in transformational, earth-based, or embodiment events
You Embody the Roots Principles
Sovereignty: You lead with clarity, trust yourself, and own your space
Safety: You create a supportive environment where facilitators and team members feel seen and held
Synergy: You’re a team player and team leader – humble, communicative, and collaborative
Sacred: You see schedule delivery and on-ground logistics as part of a sacred offering, not just operations
Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Valued)
Experience in production, festival operations, or team leadership
Comfort with headset mics, speakers, and AV equipment
Project management or stage management experience
Eye for detail in stage/space design and flow
